The precision aluminium-alloy insert is made from lightweight, high-strength aluminium with a precision-finished knurled outer diameter; after insert molding or press-fitting into plastic parts, the knurl teeth interlock strongly with the substrate, providing excellent torque and pull-out resistance. Anodizing or passivation gives good corrosion resistance and high thread accuracy, suiting plastic structural parts that demand both appearance and low weight.
