SMT tape-and-reel fasteners are packaged to the EIA carrier-tape standard and supplied with high-precision solderable nuts or studs, ready for high-speed pick-up by automatic placement machines and reflow soldering. Carrier pitch and pick-point accuracy are high, giving accurate placement and consistent solder strength while greatly improving board-level assembly efficiency and automation.
